Time off & holidays
Monograph’s Time Off feature lets your team request PTO, keeps balances in one place, and feeds approved time into timesheets, staffing, and payroll. An admin turns it on; then everyone can use it.
Request time off
Section titled “Request time off”Once Time Off is enabled, new pages appear under Time.
-
Go to Time → Your Time → Time Off and select the appropriate PTO policy.
-
Enter the dates and the hours for each day. Add an optional note.
-
Click Send Request.
Your request shows under Upcoming Requests as Pending until it’s approved or denied. From the ⋯ menu you can Edit (and resubmit) or Cancel a request any time before its start date.
Approve or deny requests
Section titled “Approve or deny requests”Users with Can Manage Time Off get an email for each request. Go to Time → Staff Time → Time Off Requests, click a request to expand it, then Respond to approve or deny (with an optional note the employee will see).
The Time Off Requests page also serves as your report — filter by date range, employee, status, or policy, and Copy Filtered View to share it.

In the new Settings → Time off policies page, create a policy: pick a policy type, name it, and link it to an Overhead Category (create one on the spot if needed).
-
Assign employees to the policy so they can start requesting.
Add company holidays
