Pipeline

Pipeline is where business development lives in Monograph — a status-based board that moves leads from first contact through proposal to a won (or lost) decision, so it doesn’t get stuck in a spreadsheet.

Open Pipeline from the main menu. Leads appear as cards in columns by status, each showing the project name, client, budget, lead owner, last activity (or closed) date, and a color-coded status badge.

  • Filters — narrow by client, category, status, lead owner, or closed date. Copy Filtered View shares the exact view with a permitted teammate.
  • Metrics — the totals across the top summarize open pipeline, lead win rate, and won/lost dollar amounts, updating as you filter.

Leads move through three stages. (Statuses can’t be customized.)

  1. Scope DiscoveryNew lead, Qualified, Discovery paused
  2. ProposalStarted, Sent, Changes requested, Proposal paused
  3. ClosedWon (generates a project) or Lost

Update a lead’s status any time from the dropdown on its card or its Overview page — the card moves automatically.

  • Won — click Won on the lead; Monograph prompts you to generate a project from the lead’s details (which you can edit first). Or push it into an existing project — see Add services to an existing project.
  • Lost — click Lost and pick a reason, which is saved to the lead’s history.

Every lead has an activity panel logging status/stage changes, lead owner changes, detail and budget edits, proposal views and approvals, and meeting notes. With the Google or Microsoft 365 integration connected, related emails and meetings show up too — so anyone can see where a lead stands and what to do next.
