Generate leads from your website
If your website has an intake or “contact us” form, Monograph can turn each submission into a lead automatically — creating the client, filling in what it can, and dropping it straight into your Pipeline. That means new inquiries stop living in your inbox and start moving through business development.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”Monograph gives your firm a unique intake email address. You point your website form’s notification emails at it; every time someone submits the form, Monograph reads that email and creates a lead.
Because it works over email, it fits almost any website — you don’t need a developer or a special integration, just the ability to set where your form sends its submissions.
Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”-
Go to Settings → Organization and find your firm’s intake email address. Copy it.
-
In your website’s form builder, set the form’s notification email (the address that receives submissions) to your Monograph intake address. Most builders — Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, and others — have a setting for where form submissions are sent.
-
Submit a test entry through your own form and confirm a new lead appears in your Pipeline.
What Monograph fills in
Section titled “What Monograph fills in”From each submission, Monograph creates:
- A lead, named from the client’s name or address plus a short description (for example, “Miller ADU” or “Miller — 1145 Bellgrade Ave”).
- A client — matched to an existing client by email or name where possible, or created new. Newly created clients are not synced to QuickBooks.
It also does its best to capture, when the submission includes them:
- Project location (address) and description
- Estimated budget and square footage
- Category
- Start date — defaults to about a month out if none is given
- Lead source — defaults to Website
Who owns and hears about intake leads
Section titled “Who owns and hears about intake leads”Because no person “created” an automatic lead, Monograph assigns it to your firm’s Lead admin.
Set the Lead admin under Settings → App defaults → Leads. This person:
- Becomes the default lead owner for leads Monograph creates automatically, and
- Receives notifications about integration-created leads — including an alert if a submission comes in that Monograph couldn’t turn into a lead, so nothing slips through.
If you don’t set one, the Lead admin defaults to your first admin.
